If you are on the City Council, will you enforce City Codes...even on close friends or relatives or developers and businesses?

Yes! For our city to attract the right developers, businesses, and current and future citizens everyone must follow the city codes. Regardless if they’re my relative, a close friend, developers, or businesses.

Will you vote on issues that PRIMARILY BENEFIT the citizens first instead of the developer(s)?

My primary concern is how my vote will benefit Wilmer residents current and future. I am running for council because our city is bringing in Wearhouse’s. When our infrastructure needs to be updated.  Wilmer is an ideal location for specialty clinics, amusement park, a Sports Complex, affordable single-family housing.

Will you support using a "Head Hunter" to select Certified City Planner or Certified Economic Developer, etc. instead of taking the recommendations of the developers in the area?

Yes, I will support a Head Hunter to select a certified city planner or certified economic developer previous City Council has not utilized the use of Head Hunter instead they used the recommendations of the developers our current city council is approving resolutions before they are complete on the recommendations of the city planner.

PUSHING FOR CHANGE!

Elizabeth Gonzalez is pushing for change and is doing everything she can to see a brighter future.

We need to cautiously choose when it is necessary for a tax abatement to be given to developers/business. We need to listen to the citizens and act responsibly, allowing for all Wilmer's families to enjoy the benefit of growth, rather than a select few. Learn more and join the cause today.
